Sanitary Infrastructure and Hygiene Education for Schools, India

,

Over the last few years, India has taken huge efforts to become “open defecation free” by promoting the installation and use of toilets across the country and was declared “open defecation free” in 2019.

In order to sustain this standard, it is important to educate children on good hygiene practices early on.

BASAID will provide sanitary facilities and hygiene education for 3,500 school kids in 4 schools and will also provide education on personal hygiene, drinking water, safe disposal and environmental conservation.
