The Magic Mongolia II center is located in a densely populated outskirt area of Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia, where the rates of domestic violence, alcoholism, and unemployment are very high, and basic education and health services are underdeveloped. The center provides free educational programs and kindergarten classes for children in need.
The center expanded its activities by building a “Magic Container Factory” where young children can learn motor skills and engage in creative activities and teenagers have the opportunity to attend vocational trainings for sewing and carpentering to become productive adults. In addition, 3-5 single parents in financial difficulties were employed and are now able to generate income through selling their hand-made products at Magic Mongolia center store.
