Huellas & Futuro seeks to support mothers committed to their well-being and economic independence. Women victims of domestic violence very often lack the resources that allow them to leave abusive relationships, with negative consequences on their and their children’s physical and mental health. The main objective of this project is to achieve the economic empowerment of 30 mothers (80 children) from the Tunari district of the city of Cochabamba, with high and medium exposure to violence who have the desire to start a micro-enterprise, in order to generate their own income for themselves and to support their families. This will be achieved through granting of joint microcredits, together with other women. They will also receive technical advice and psychological support to ensure the success of their businesses.
