Colombia is a country that has joined the fight for the defense of women’s rights but the culture in which the country has been formed has often prevented women from receiving the same treatment as, and enjoying equal rights as, men. Many women still face an environment of multiple inequalities and all forms of discrimination
The aim of this project is to improve the economic empowerment of women from 7 communities of Magangue, Bolivar, Nueva Colombia, la Peña, Yatí, Barranca Yuca, Santa Lucía and Piñalito. 10 women in each community will receive academic, technical, and business education to help them implement 4 sustainable collective enterprises and poultry houses.
