In a suburb of Battambang BASAID supports various
educational initiatives by Children’s Future
International (CFI) where children in grades 1 through 7
receive supplementary instruction in mathematics,
English, Khmer and computer skills. Bicycles and
uniforms are provided when needed to enable the
children to attend school and CFI’s support plays a
crucial role in ensuring the children successfully
complete their schooling.
In 2026, the following support will be provided:
- Provision of uniforms and school supplies for 250
students - Supplementary instruction to enhance learning in
Mathematics, English, and Khmer - Provision of bicycles for 20 students who have long
commutes - Support for families to enable children to attend
school - Coverage of tuition fees for students with special
needs
