St. Maria Consolata Dispensary in Taweta is the main health facility in the remote rural region serving over 7.000 people in the surrounding villages. The main building is from the year 1985 and in order for the dispensary to remain functioning and safe for the patients there are urgent renovation works needed. This well defined scope of basic renovation works and fixes will keep the dispensary operating, reduce the health risks for the patients and improve the healthcare provided. The main objectives of the renovation are to fix the leaking roof, repair deteriorated ceiling boards that keep falling down and renovate the sanitary area for the patients that is currently not in use due to damaged equipment and inability to provide basic hygienic standards.
