BASAID new partner Cambodian Children’s Trust works with vulnerable and disadvantaged women, children, and families in Battambang Province in Northwest Cambodia. The Community health care model aim is to ensure that poverty is not a barrier to accessing basic needs such as nutrition, sanitation, healthcare, and education. The Community health care model prioritizes preventative healthcare and early intervention through home visit, focusing on: Empowering families to build sustainable healthcare plans to achieve their health goals, reducing life-limiting chronic physical and mental illness through facilitating access to high quality care. The outcome is improved health for whole communities, enabling families to raise their children well and escape poverty.
