The primary goal of this project is to install a solar panel
system with battery storage at the Magic Mongolia Centre
in Ulaanbaatar. The centre, run by the local NGO Lantuun
Dohio, offers free educational programs and protection
services for children in need. Currently, it faces frequent
power outages which disrupt the overall operations of the
school as well as the functioning of the deep-water well.
Installing a solar panel system with a battery storage will
address these challenges. The reliable supply of electricity
will ensure the continuing operation of the Magic Mongolia
Centre and will provide clean water for 100–150 vulnerable
children every day.
In addition, the project will reduce utility costs, allowing
savings to be reinvested into hiring qualified teachers.
Beyond these benefits, the initiative also supports
environmental sustainability.
