In Peru extreme poverty has increased due to the COVID-19 pandemic and women are the most affected. In Cusco only
33% of girls who complete secondary education start higher education and Cusco is one of the 3 regions that has reported the highest number of incidents of human trafficking, especially in the provinces where Quechua is spoken. The aim of this project is to educate 15 young adolescent Quechua-speaking women in the village of Kcauri, near Cusco to start up their own small businesses.
