School Success Program, Cambodia

, ,

Although school is free in Cambodia, financial barriers frequently prevent children from attending classes and pursuing their educational goals. For instance, a family struggles to afford uniforms, study materials, transport and extra tuition fees.

With the support from BASAID, Children’s Future International ( CFI)- runs an educational project in a suburb of Battambang to ease those barriers for children and contribute to completing their primary and secondary education grade by grade to conduct them successfully into their next goal.

The COVID pandemic effects are still palpable in children struggling to get back into the education system, failing to attend school, others not complying with lessons or dropping out of school.

In 2024, the School Program in Battambang will support 250 students attending grades 1 to – 7 by providing tuition, schoolbooks, uniforms, and bicycles.
