The Fundación Pilar y Gracia in Bogotá provides protection and care for 5 to 10 babies and 40 to 45 adolescent girls, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women whose rights are threatened or violated. The girls and young mothers live with their babies in a boarding school environment, where they receive food, accommodation, psychosocial support, health care, academic training, and life skills development.BASAID’s financial support will be used to replace damaged or missing equipment in the bakery workshop and to purchase new equipment to optimise production. This will allow the girls to continue their training in baking and to obtain a technical certification. It will also ensure the production and self-supply of bakery products for the girls, their babies, and the foundation staff.
