Establish mother baby unit at hospital with beds in Mampong, Ghana

Since building the Mothers and Babies Unit at Mampong Municipal Hospital, patient numbers have increased substantially.  Not only do many more pregnant women come to the Unit to give birth, but if they give birth elsewhere to a small or vulnerable baby, they bring the baby to the Unit to be put in an incubator. These women stay near the Unit for as long as their baby is in the incubator.  They bring their own food but have nowhere to sleep at night. The goal of the project is to convert a derelict building into a dormitory funding the beds and mattresses.
