The NGO “LokBikash” was founded in 1990 by a group of experienced and dedicated social workers to help disadvantaged people in need.
The organization now plans to build a residential home for elderly people who suffer from various social, economic and cultural discriminations and are neglected by their families and society. The home is intended to provide the 25 to 30 future residents with a high-quality communal life.
BASAID is supporting this project with CHF 17,000.
