Economic emporwement of adolescent mothers, Phase II, Lima

La Congregación Nuestra Señora de la Caridad del Buen Pastor in their center “Reina de la Paz” in Lima, host pregnant teenagers and/or
mothers and their sons and daughters who are in a situation of vulnerability, in extreme poverty or moral and material abandonment. They provide comprehensive care services, educational training, and so that they are able to face their future with dignity
and to manage their own lives. The beneficiaries of this project, 8 teenage mothers between 14 and 17 years of age, will receive technical and practical training in making jewelry or crafts, cooking or baking and bio-gardens. Each one will choose at least one type of workshop and will participate in 2 practical sessions per week given by specialists in the indicated subjects.
