The NGO Lok Bikash has recently completed and inaugurated the construction of the residential building for its proposed Old Age Home, “Bapu Shanti Ashram” in Abhayapur village, Jajpur district, Odisha, India. The project was realized with funds from BASAID. This home is intended to provide quality life for distressed aged people. However, to make the center fully operational, essential infrastructure such as a kitchen, dining hall, and a store are still required.
The amount of 13’800 CHF is dedicated to the construction of the kitchen, dining hall, and their equipment. Thereafter the old age home will become fully operational and provide comprehensive care and a dignified living environment for its elderly residents.
