In the prefecture of Vo in Togo, there are many half-orphans and orphans who lack the support to cover the costs of attending school. From an early age, they are dependent on working and earning a living. In order for these children to go to school, school supplies are bought, school uniforms made and school fees paid. The production of the uniforms is taken over by formerly supported orphans who have completed training in tailoring.
There is a long waiting list of half-orphans and orphans, the project aims to support 50 children. The project is foreseen as a 4-7 year project. It is meant for secondary school students.
