The project aims to contribute to the formation of environmental awareness and food and nutritional security in school-age boys and girls (4th and 5th grade of primary school) from eight mixed official rural schools in indigenous communities, through training and technical assistance in the implementation of school gardens and nurseries, and the treatment of garbage for its transformation into organic fertilizer. The project responds to the need for more comprehensive educational models that combine recreation with productive work.
