Pig breeder for cooperation MILEDEKA
In the village of Akato in Togo, the MILEDEKA group, consisting of nine people (mostly women) with no work and no income, seeks to establish an independent existence for themselves and their families by establishing sustainable pig breeding. At the moment, the members of the group are in a very difficult financial situation, but have initiated the first steps to establish a breeding program. BASAID supports the group to breed more pigs and a boar, as well as to build pig styes and thus create an adequate livelihood by selling pigs. The project benefits the group and their families and should enable them to train their children.
