Goal: Build one bridge to connect three villages and prevent isolation of the village inhabitants during the Monsoon season.

BASAID finance bridge-building materials: · Support the material costs Benificiary: · 85 Families (530 Persons with 3750 animals) · Three villages Time Frame: 2009 - 2010 Cost BASAID: US$ 8,839 (10,000 SFr) adjusted, September 2009. September 2009 Status: The adjusted total of 10,000 SFr was released but only for 2009 since the cost estimate for the larger bridge planned in 2010 turned out to be more than expected. Please see the adjusted estimate for the smaller bridge which is currently in progress. (Document attached) The additional 2,000 SFr will be requested from the 2010 budget. Local Contribution: Voluntary workers; Project manager will work without payment. The mayor of Wenda and local monastary will support the workers with local wagens, nourishment and moral support.
