Projects/Latin America
 Our group BASAID Latin America consists of four committed members who all have gotten their own special interest in development cooperation and Latin America, be it through professional work and contacts, be it that they resided and worked for some time in South America, or be it through extensive traveling and private contacts there.We count on the experience and the competence of our trusted contacts “on spot” who support us with assessing project propositions as well as with the implementation and evaluation of the projects on a mutual agreed basis. We are happy to have trusted partners whom we can rely on in every country where we operate. In order not to dissipate our limited budget and personnel resources, and in order to be as effective and efficient as possible, we currently concentrate our activities on four countries: Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Guatemala. However, for the future we do not rule out to have projects in other countries of Central and South America if we can rely on competent partners and if the projects fit to our experience and know-how. BASAID Latin America focuses our project activities on the areas of basic health, medical and educational care for children and adolescent persons, and - to a somewhat smaller extent - also farming and nutrition.
