The statutes of BASAID describe the organisation and the duties as well as the competences of each body. We complete with the annexed document the common understanding for our active members in those issues that are not explicitly covered in the statutes. This is necessary in order to ensure the congruence of our doings within the different bodies.
Our non-profit organisation has responsibilities towards members and sponsors. We ensure transparency and answer questions on request. We acknowledge and follow the principles of Good Governance. A central element of these principles require traceability of all relevant decisions as long as the organisation exists. This is binding for all issues concerning the scope of our organisation ( projects for development ) as well as finance. For this reason BASAID will issue a written protocol of all the meetings of relevance. These are the General Assembly, the meetings of the executive board, of the project groups and of any other specific group (eg Weihnachtsmarkt). This means also that these protocols will be archived properly. |
